[Japanese/English]

To start with...

This is a weblog about microtubule structures and the related cellular phenomena, written by Masa Sato, in University of Tokyo.
From now on, would like to summarise on which project our group is working.

This is the first comment I posted in English, but the Japanese site has been already open since the end of 2009. (http://msmicrotubule.blogspot.com/) I need to apologise my poor English in advance, but I decided to write 'something' to make what we are studying open. We know it is not recommended to write anything about 'unpublished data.' (This is always a big paradox for me, because scientific research is often accelerated through discussion over unpublished data and ongoing experiments.) In this 'closed' situation, how can we make our study public? I decided to write what has been already known in this field, especially for young people. Ideas of young people will grow themselves, and if there was a hint of feedback, that would help me as well.

The contents would be started with easy explanations. This is partly because my knowledge is not that perfect. After overviewing the whole area, I wish to enter the second round with relatively detailed explanations.
